Data processed through frymare.ch is handled in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect

When you place an order or take out a subscription, we may collect the data needed to manage the purchase, including:

first and last name;
e-mail address;
billing address;
postal address for delivery;
information relating to the order and the subscription;
any messages sent to customer service.

Payment data is processed through the payment service provider used by the website. Laboratorio Hanari does not directly store full payment card details.

Why we use this data

We use personal data exclusively for purposes connected with running the website and the services offered, in particular to:

process orders and payments;
prepare and ship the Chronicles;
manage subscriptions, renewals and cancellations;
share information relating to an order;
provide customer support;
comply with administrative, accounting and legal obligations.

The postal address is used to prepare and deliver shipments and is shared with postal or logistics services only to the extent necessary to complete delivery.

Sharing data

Personal data is never sold to third parties.

It may be shared, only where necessary, with providers that help run the website and the orders, such as:

payment services;
website hosting and infrastructure services;
technical providers of the e-commerce platform;
postal and shipping services;
administrative or accounting advisors where necessary.

These parties receive only the data required to perform their respective services.

Visitor statistics and cookies

Only if you agree, the website uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to collect aggregated information about how it is visited: pages viewed, length of visit, type of device and browser, and approximate location. For this purpose, analytics cookies (for example “_ga”) are stored in your browser for a maximum of 13 months.

Google Analytics is only activated after you give your consent through the message shown on your first visit. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. Data may also be processed by Google outside Switzerland and the European Union, in particular in the United States, on the basis of the contractual safeguards provided by Google.

You can change your mind at any time using the “Manage cookie preferences” button at the bottom of this page: if you withdraw your consent, the analytics cookies are deleted and no further data is sent.

The website also stores a few technical preferences in your browser that it needs in order to work, such as your chosen language, the contents of your basket and your cookie choice. This information stays on your device.

Retention

Data is kept for as long as necessary to manage the relationship with the customer and thereafter for the period required by applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You may request information about the personal data we process and, within the limits set by applicable law, request its correction, deletion or the restriction of its processing.

You may also withdraw a previously given consent at any time.
